Free Printable Preschool Worksheets When my son was 2.5 years old, my husband went out and bought a bunch of preschool workbooks excited to lean into my son's curiosity about letters, shapes, and numbers. Much to my husband's surprise, my toddler could not do more than scribble on the prechool worksheet. Fast forward to his 3rd Birthday...still not much more than scribbles on those preschool worksheets. I spoke to his preschool teacher who said this is completely normal. We keep worksheet time with our 3-year old we only work on about two pre-school worksheets per day. We break lessons up into 15-20 minute blocks. Any longer is a struggle and he wants to go off and do something else.
